I am pleased to announce the first solo exhibition for gallery mebuki,

"Yuki Matsuba Solo Exhibition" which will start on Sunday, July 28th.

Tanabata(The star festival) day is coming on July 7th.

I wonder what everyone is wishing for...

If I ever had a chance to open up a gallery, I was wishing for Mr.Yuki Matsuba to be the first for the solo exhibition.

Secretly wishing for that day to come, I visited the first day of his solo exhibition in Kyushu.

The gallery in Kyushu had been open for many years but had no website.

I assumed that Mr. Matsuba would be at the gallery on the first day, but it was a few days later and I did not get to meet him in person during the visit.

I enjoyed chatting with other customers over a cup of coffee in a friendly atmosphere at the gallery.

Unexpectedly, the owner of the gallery informed Mr. Matsuba about me a few days later.

The rest of the story is long, so I will leave it up to your imagination.

Eventually, I was able to make contact with Mr. Matsuba and my wish became true.

Before the solo exhibition, I have set up a small corner in my gallery to introduce Ms. Matsuba's past works during the regular exhibition.

On the first day of the solo exhibition, July 28 (Sun), flowers arranged by the flower artist Mr.Kenta Saito will greet all of you.

I will be looking forward to seeing you soon.

Every moment of the scene is so enjoyable.

I am certain that the works will go to the people who will take good care of them.

It is a delightful moment but it is also hard to say good-bye to the works I love so much.

(By Car)

If you are driving, it takes about 30 minutes from the Usui Karuizawa Interchange.

I am sure you would enjoy the drive through the beautiful green tunnel.

Parking space is available.

(By Train)

If you are coming by train, the nearest station is Miyota Station on the Shinano Railway.

The Shinano Railway is operating only a few trains per hour...

Please come and enjoy the traveling atmosphere in a retro train.

There is a taxi company at Miyota station.

You can reach still in about 7-8 minutes by taxi.
